In the last five years, EV-Box has grown to become the market leader, with over 48.000 charging stations across the globe. The concept was clear: a charging station with fully modular construction, ready to facilitate the explosion of the EV market, while simultaneously providing uncompromising quality and durability.
The iconic LED ring has become a symbol for charging in public spaces, an unmistakable and welcome feature of many city streets.
As a continuous technology & innovation industry player, EV-Box is now the largest producer and supplier of charging stations for electric vehicles and related cloud-based services worldwide. EV-Box solutions have already been installed from Shanghai to Monaco, and from Rome to Stockholm. In March 2017, the company was acquired by global energy business ENEGIE. EV-Box will continue to operate fully independently and retain its personality and approach, but now has the benefit of financial, product and geographical support of a €66 Billion group dedicated to decentralised and smart energy systems.
Reporting to the CMO, as Geschäftsführer (Commercial Director), you will be responsible for the growth and strategic development for the full market development in the DACH region, including indirect sales. You will create new business opportunities and nurture the existing installed base and business partners. As a sales leader, you will be able to inspire the team you build through passion, motivation and leading from the front.
Develop and take care of implementation of strategy set in business and department plans
Manage, support, coach, guide, inspire and motivate team members
Hold structural team meetings
Implement (changed) organisation plans and work processes
Take care of achievement of team – and individual objectives
Coordinate the transfer and securing of commercial and product knowledge
Stimulate growth of team members and professionalize the team
Apply current HR policy, HR instruments and HR procedures
Monitor and ensure an optimal quantitative – and qualitative staffing
Coordinate commercial activities with other departments continuously
Motivate the (sales) team to provide consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues and give the (sales) team a competitive edge
Collaborate with the CMO/CEO in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the region
Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and margins
Follow-up of the sales pipeline on a daily basis and make sure all activities (call/mail/f2f) are in the company CRM
Liaise effectively with the in-house sales team, marketing, administration and peers in other countries
Report on the sales results timely and weekly and proactive advice on the forecast of sales
Help optimize the sales process
Act as a product expert on the competitive landscape and act as the primary product evangelist in the appointed sales domain
Train, guide and coach other team members
Coordinate and collaborate with the CTO
BA level with 8-10+ years’ experience of achieving sales in the B2B market
Experience in building and leading a team and leading by example
Proven track record in new business & distribution sales and over performance of sales targets
Knowledge of sustainable and clean energy market
Verbal and written communication skills in English beside German mother tongue
